"You see, at just the right time,
when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though
for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:6-8
There is nothing we can do to get ourselves into heaven.
All the good deeds in the world won't get us anywhere.
We have to come before God with empty hands.
Christ died for us "while we were still sinners",
it was a gift and not something we have to earn.
There is no point saying you want to quit a bad habit first or
"God just isn't right for me now", because Christ died for you, as you are right now.
All you have to do is accept that He died for you
and ask God's forgiveness for your sins and your new life starts now.
Nothing else you can do will help you or free you.
But with Christ you will be set free from your life as it is now.
Make your life His.
He will not let you down or leave you.
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life,
neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future,
nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation,
will be able to separate us from the love of God
that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39
Once you have asked Christ into your life, you will be a new person.
You will have a new outlook on life, new standards.
God will be there for you every step of the way and will
give you strength in the changes you need to make in your life.
Christ will fill the void in your life and you will have an amazing sense of freedom.
It's the best thing that could ever happen to you.
Praise the Lord!!
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
